Hey everyone:

We had to get one more trip in before the end of the year – so it was off to Scotland.  This was one of those trips that we put relatively little thought into and paid the consequences latter.  The flight out was 5 hours late (arrival time 0330 hrs., the hotel was no where near the airport (cab 50lbs), the departure date was 1JAN06 (no transportation back to the airport) and so on...

But, on the bright side – it was cold and rainy and I was just getting the cold Amy was just getting over.  It wasn’t as miserable as it sounds.  The hotel was great.  We saw both Glasgow and Edinburgh as well as the countryside in between.  Edinburgh is clearly the winner of the two and is one of the top 5 destinations for New Years Eve party goers.  We wouldn’t know – we were back at the hotel enjoying our own celebrations.

Another highlight of the trip was going to a very modern, 5 story movie theater – we saw Narnia.  Great show!

Well, as most of you may know our next big trip is another cruise. This time in Russia starting in St. Petersburg and ending in Moscow.
